OBJECTIVES:

To identify, formulate, prepare, appraise, implement, and monitor and evaluate joint-venture projects between Sudanese and foreign technical and financial parties in various sectors particularly agriculture, industry and services.
To act as catalyst by combining in joint-venture projects local funds and entrepreneurship with foreign appropriate technology and capital for the acceleration of socio-economic development of Sudan.
To provide finance, technical and management skills to technically sound, financially feasible and economically viable new and existing projects/companties in both public and private sectors.

The NIDBG Was constituted on the 8th of March 1993 as a consequence of a merger process between the Nilein Bank and the previous industrial Bank of Sudan. The new organ embodies the mission of the two banks, respectively commercial banking and development banking.
